Welcome to Tall Pine Angus in central Alberta,Canada.

 

We, Jim and Alta Purdie, sincerely thank you for visiting our web site . We are supposed to be retired but our love for the cows and the outdoors won't let us.  We have a small closed herd of performance tested black angus cows and are using top AI bulls to produce excellent home raised bulls and heifers.

 

Jim works off the farm in construction and I raise West Highland White Terriers for a hobby plus chickens, ducks, and the grandchildren's sheep.   We have  6 children and 12 grandchildren all told and out of the 12 our youngest chore boy is 3 year old Tom Dennis  (the best little helper you ever seen). When Tom starts school his baby sister (the youngest of them all), Raette will become the helper and boss!
